bio

Hailing from Plainfield, New Hampshire, Kyra began skating just after learning to walk and started playing hockey at four years old. She played youth hockey with the Twin Valley Flyers, Hanover Wild, and Hartford Storm before competing at the varsity level with the Lebanon Raiders. There, she earned all-state honors in each of her four seasons and was named New Hampshire High School Player of the Year in 2012.

Kyra went on to play NCAA Division III hockey at Manhattanville College, where she served as team captain and finished her senior year as the team’s leading scorer. She graduated with a degree in Sports Management and Communications and began her coaching career at the North America Hockey Academy, leading her team to a JWHL U16 Championship. She has also gained professional experience in sales and marketing with the Atlanta Gladiators.

Kyra has been with The St. James since the facility opened in 2018. Most recently, she led her 14U AA Girls team to the club’s first-ever National Championship in 2025.
