Learn to Play Hockey

Our hockey for beginners program welcomes ages 4-15, with players divided into two age groups for age-appropriate instruction. The class is designed for kids who are new to ice hockey or have limited skating and stick experience.

No prior hockey experience is required. This program is built specifically for first-time and early-stage players, focusing on fundamentals in a supportive environment. We do require participants to have completed a Learn to Skate session to ensure they will get the most out of the class.

Full hockey equipment is required, and players must bring their own gear, it will not be provided.

Yes. This program is ideal for kids who want to try hockey in a low-pressure environment before committing to league or team play.

Graduates typically move into house leagues and summer camps, and depending on age and readiness will progress futher to travel teams and more advanced training programs.

Learn to Play focuses on skill development and instruction, not games or standings. It prepares athletes for future leagues or team play once they’re ready.

Yes. Safety is a top priority. Classes are led by experienced coaches and follow age-appropriate progressions with close supervision on the ice.
