What is House Select Hockey?
STJ House Select gives athletes already participating in our House Hockey League the opportunity to take their game further with increased practice, structured competition, and exposure to higher-level play. Players selected for House Select continue to participate in the House League while also joining a Select team that competes in additional practices, games, and tournaments throughout the season.
This program is perfect for players who love hockey, want more ice time, and seek to challenge themselves beyond regular house league play without the full commitment of travel hockey.
Extra Development, Extra Competition
What Players Can Expect
STJ House Select teams supplement regular house league sessions with:
Additional practices beyond standard house league sessions
Extra game opportunities against other house select teams and in local events
Tournament or away game experiences (based on scheduling and team decisions)
Skill-focused sessions that reinforce fundamentals and accelerate development
Players remain active in their House League teams while gaining these added opportunities
