Justin Browne

Justin Browne is a Northern Virginia native and a South County High School graduate with six years of volleyball experience. He began his competitive volleyball journey playing travel volleyball at The St. James, where he specialized as a libero. During his time there, Justin developed strong defensive skills, consistent ball control, and a deep understanding of the importance of communication and effort on the court.

After graduating high school, Justin continued both his athletic and academic career at Hood College. Competing at the collegiate level allowed him to further sharpen his skills while learning what it takes to perform in a faster, more competitive environment. His time at Hood helped him grow as a player, teammate, and leader, while also strengthening his work ethic and overall volleyball IQ.

Justin recently returned home to Northern Virginia and has since dedicated his time to giving back to the volleyball community that helped shape him as an athlete. He has spent significant time working with younger players, focusing on fundamentals, confidence-building, and helping athletes understand the game at a deeper level. Justin previously had the opportunity to coach at Nike Camps, STJ Summer camps, and our skill development programs, where he gained hands-on coaching experience and enjoyed mentoring players of all ages.

He is excited to return to the travel volleyball side in his new role and is eager to continue developing players both on and off the court. Justin is passionate about helping athletes grow, compete, and enjoy the game while passing on the lessons and experiences he has gained throughout his volleyball career.
