bio

Rose Mock, originally from Woodbridge, VA, discovered her passion for volleyball at a young age through a local summer camp. She quickly developed into a versatile player, excelling as a setter, libero, and all-around player on her middle and high school teams. Rose also competed at a high level with CLASH Volleyball Club throughout her youth.

Her dedication to the sport continued into college, where she played competitive club volleyball as a libero at both Loyola University Maryland and the University of Virginia. Rose remains active in the sport today, playing in competitive adult tournaments.

With several seasons of coaching experience, Rose has led varsity girls’ volleyball at the high school level and is now in her second season coaching at The St. James. She is known for her ability to develop players’ technical skills, game IQ, and leadership on and off the court.

Outside of volleyball, Rose is a Certified Public Accountant and serves as an Internal Audit Manager for an environmental non-profit. She is passionate about sustainability and community engagement, and she brings that same commitment to mentoring young athletes—helping them grow not only as players but as confident, communicative team members.
