bio
Eric Turner started his volleyball career playing on the beaches of Southern California as a kid. In high school, he was the setter for Edison High School in Huntington Beach, CA. Eric helped lead the team to multiple Sunset League titles and a semi-final appearance in the highly competitive CIF-4A playoffs his senior year. He then traveled across the country to continue his volleyball career at George Mason University in the early 90’s.
Eric has spent the past four seasons, coaching a wide range of teams. He’s spent time with Boys 18 Navy and 17 Navy as an assistant coach, on a team which saw 5 players go DI and finish a region best 5th place at AAU Open Nationals. After that group graduated, Eric has gone back to the roots of the club where he helped coach Boys 14 White and Boys 15 White. This past season, Eric assisted Boys 15 White to the program’s first podium finish at AAU Nationals.
Eric is focused on developing the foundational skills required to become an elite player. You must master the basics of pass, set, hit before you can excel as a top-level volleyball athlete.
