Adam Baumgardner is a Loudoun County native who has dedicated the past 20+ years to youth soccer in Northern Virginia. A graduate of Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, Adam continued his playing career and began his coaching career at Davis & Elkins College (WV) where he was a 4-year starter for the NCAA D-II Senators before he accepted the Assistant Coach position with D&E.
Over the past 2 decades Adam has worked as part of the technical leadership team and as a senior staff member for some of the top clubs in the DMV including, Loudoun Soccer, VSA Soccer, CYA Soccer & SYA Soccer (now VA Valor) as well as serving as Head Coach for a number of local public and private High Schools including Loudoun Valley HS, Notre Dame Academy, Heritage HS and Freedom-South Riding HS.
Adam has been part of The St. James team since 2021, serving as Grassroots Soccer Director, Boys Travel Director and Assistant Director of Soccer before being promoted to Director of Soccer in February of 2024.
