He competed at the collegiate level at Christopher Newport University and Marymount University, where his experience went far beyond competition. College baseball provided opportunities for growth, learning, and personal development that helped define his work ethic and character.

During his time at CNU and Marymount, Alec developed resilience, discipline, and a strong sense of purpose. Through demanding practices, challenging losses, meaningful victories, and lasting relationships, he gained lessons that extend well beyond the game itself. He remains especially grateful for the teammates and coaches who became like family and helped shape his journey.
